The design is sleek enough to feel at home at any indoor social event but robust enough to live outside for months.
The individual units can be daisy-chained over network to maximize flexibility when designing an area. They can
nestle along a path or walk way, be placed in clusters or circle a clearing.
BETTER TOGETHER
Our main goal when designing this artwork was to get people to play together. We designed the install for all ages with a simple interactive mechanic. By simply grabbing a tube, the install will react with rewarding audio modulation and light patterns.
Each tube is a unique touch point. You can experiment alone but the system encourages and rewards a co-ordinated group effort by emitting more dynamic light and sound patterns.
BESPOKE CONTENT
The interactive system is built with industry standard creative tools for ease of iteration and collaboration. We’ve combined the open source nature of Touchdesigner with the flexibility of Ableton.
